The Wrap Life started its journey in 2013, in New York. If you purchased a head wrap between 2014 and 2015, it was cut and sewn in the kitchen of my Brooklyn apartment. In the early years, I sourced globally, gathering gorgeous fabrics from places like Ghana, Indonesia, and other corners of Asia. Wrap Life products have been well received across oceans, supporting women by providing them with beautiful head wraps printed on high quality fabrics. At the time, all these products were cut and sewn in Brooklyn, New York. With a desire to make my head wraps available to more women and offer affordable product diversity, I made the practical choice to move more production abroad. But honestly, sometimes I miss the energy and nostalgia of those days. Creating small, hands-on productions allowed us the freedom to take bold risks and immerse ourselves in the magic of it all.

With that sentiment in mind, The Wrap Life has partnered with a local, woman-owned manufacturer, to bring back your beloved Made in Brooklyn favorites. New prints are also available in our Standard Head Wrap, the product that started it all. We’re excited to be creating in Brooklyn again and look forward to bringing you more domestically produced Wrap Life products.
